What we do
Our programme is built around the following Events:
The East Coast Musician of the Year Competition This is a competition for all ages and all abilities. Categories are based on age groups, 11 and Under, 14 and Under, 18 and Under, Open Class. Candidates perform music of their own choice. This is a two stage competition with heats and final. The final is a public performance. See East Coast Young Musician Competition for details and entry form. Closing date for entry 30th September. Heats 5th November, Final 12th November.
The Musical presented by a combined Churches-together Choir “Jail Break” - A musical in modern style based on a well-known Bible story. To be performed in two venues Flamborough Village Hall and Our Lady & St Peters RC, Bridlington.
50 strong Local Community Big Band playing big-band classics supported by local Folk Group.
Performances by the Longcroft Performing Arts College 70 strong Gospel Choir, The Collette Tyler Dance School, and other supporting acts. East Coast Festival of Choirs and Voices Choirs from around the Yorkshire Region perform on the Bridlington Spa Theatre stage each bringing to the concert their own style and choice of music from traditional Choral Music, Gilbert & Sullivan, Musical Theatre to Modern Standards.
Be amazed by the standard of the performances by primary and secondary school young people in a concert to delight the audience.
This is a very special concert which brings together those involved with local charities, community projects in a concert to celebrate the unsung heroes who go about the business of enriching the lives of our local communities.
This annual concert held in the Bridlington Spa Theatre focuses on events which remind the local community of the Christian Heritage and how this has contributed to the lives of people living and working within the local community.
