The East Coast Community Band Night – 16th November
This year the Community Band Night will feature the Buckrose Concert Band. The band has been building up its reputation throughout the east Coast Region since its inception. It is unique it that it welcomes musicians of all abilities and ages giving them he experience of performing together. Now with over 50 members the band is going from strength to strength. It has a wide repertoire of music including arrangements of pop songs, sound tracks, music from the shows with something for all musical taste. This is now their third visit to CCMfestival.
This year they will be performing in Sewerby Methodist Church on Wednesday evening 16th November commencing at 7:30pm.
Also taking part will be other community based groups so come along and enjoy the evening.

The East Coast Youth Showcase Concert – 18th November
2011 will see a new introduction to the CCMfestival programme. This concert will highlight some of the developing talent in the region. This year the concert will feature the Collette Tyler Dance School with performers ranging from the under 5’s to more mature teenagers. The standard of performance is very high and amazingly colourful.
Among the featured groups is the Longcroft Performing Arts College Gospel Choir. You will experience the vibrancy and vitality of this 50+ strong choir as they perform their own unique rendering of modern gospel songs.

The concert will take place a Christ Church, Quay Road Bridlington on Friday 18th November 7:30pm.

The East Coast Festival of Choirs and Voices – 19th November
This concert is designed to attract choirs and singing groups from around the region. It provides an opportunity for many of these singing groups to perform in a theatre setting, which may not be their normal performance setting.
This opportunity is made available to choirs and singing groups of all ages whatever their style and musical preference may be. Each participating group is allowed up to a maximum of 25 minutes to perform a programme of their choice. In 2010 ten choirs participated in the event. The outcome is a very varied programme of choral music to suit all tastes from classical to pop and all shades in between. The concert is jointly promoted with Bridlington U3A and attracts a good audience. 2011 will be equally attractive.
The event takes place in the Bridlington Spa Theatre and this year will be held on Saturday 19th November 2011 commencing at 2:00pm. If you would like your choir or singing group to take part contact the Festival Director on 01262 404100 or e-mail paul-lowe@ccmf.co.uk.

The East Coast Festival of Schools Music Making – 20th November
This years’ concert will take place in Bridlington Spa Theatre on Sunday 20th November commencing 2:00pm. Heads and teachers who would like their pupils/students to participate in this years’ event should contact the Festival Director on 01262 404100 or e-mail paul-lowe@ccmf.co.uk.
